Already-completed courses: If a certificate was attached after learners completed the course, check one completed learner after publishing the course setting. The learner can open Online Training in the Member Portal, select the completed course, and use the Certificate button in the upper-right to download it. The course completion email can also link back to that course. There is no standard action to resend the certificate email or mark the course complete again solely to regenerate the email. Confirm the certificate uses the Training category and is selected on the course.
How do I export LMS Course Reports?
When would I use this? Use this when you need to export LMS Course Reports. For example, a learning administrator may need this answer to deliver and track the right training for the intended learners.

How do I give non-members access to one LMS course without exposing member-only courses?
When would I use this? Use this when one course should be available to existing non-members or to people who do not yet have a Member365 account, while other LMS courses remain restricted.
Direct answer: Grant access at the individual course level. When the course is sold through the public Store, a new purchaser can be created as a non-member, receive portal credentials, and access the purchased course without gaining access to courses restricted by other access rules.
Before you begin: Connect the course to the correct Store product, confirm the product has an available quantity greater than zero, and decide whether a new non-member purchaser should automatically receive a portal account.
- Go to Configuration → Member Portal → Setup → Access – Non-Members → Manage and allow non-members to sign in.
- Go to Modules → Learning Management (LMS) → Manage Course.
- Open the intended course and select the Access tab.
- Grant access only through the required non-member organization, contact demographic, individual contact, or contact list.
Expected result: A new purchaser receives portal credentials and access to the purchased course. Courses limited to other categories, demographics, contacts, or lists remain unavailable.
Test before going live: Verify the public purchase, account-creation email, course access, and visibility of a restricted member-only course.

Will completing an external training website automatically complete my LMS course?
When would I use this? Use this when an LMS assignment sends learners to a third-party training website.
Before you begin: A website-type assignment opens the external URL, but completion on that site is not automatically recorded as completion in Member365.
Steps in Member365:
- Set up the external website assignment and tell learners how completion is recorded.
- Have the learner return to Member365 and mark the assignment completed.
- Review the course report and, if required, the third-party completion review workflow.
Expected result: The learner's Member365 course progress updates after the required completion action rather than automatically from the outside site.
Test before going live: Complete a test assignment and inspect the course report.
What happens next? If automated progress tracking is essential, ask Support about supported LMS content types and setup.
Can I report who completed every course in a set of LMS courses?
When would I use this? Use this when you need to confirm that people finished several separate courses.
Before you begin: The LMS reports show overall course counts and reports for individual courses; there is no built-in combined completed-all-courses report for a chosen set.
Steps in Member365:
- Open Modules → Learning Management (LMS) → Reports.
- Open each relevant course and export or review its per-user completion report.
- Compare the contact identifiers across those course reports outside Member365 to identify people who completed all required courses.
Expected result: You can establish completion of a multi-course program by comparing the per-course records.
Test before going live: Check one known completer and one partial completer against the comparison.
What happens next? Retain the exported reports with the date and course set used.
How do I upload SCORM content and have its assignment complete automatically?
When would I use this? Use this when you already have a SCORM package and want an LMS course assignment to reflect completion.
Before you begin: The SCORM package itself must send a supported completion event. Uploading it alone does not make the assignment complete automatically.
Steps in Member365:
- Open Modules → Learning Management → SCORM Files and upload the supported package.
- Select that package in the intended LMS course assignment.
- Complete the course as a test learner and check whether the assignment changes to Completed.
- If it remains incomplete, have the content author inspect the package's completion trigger and supported SCORM edition; learners can self-report completion when that is your chosen workflow.
Expected result: Member365 marks the assignment complete when it receives the package's completion signal.
Test before going live: Test both successful completion and a partially completed attempt before opening the course widely.
What happens next? Use the LMS course report to review the resulting learner records.
How do I give previous LMS purchasers access to their courses?
When would I use this? Use this when moving learners who already paid in another learning platform.
Before you begin: Course access can be based on a saved contact list; this does not itself import purchase history.
Steps in Member365:
- Create a separate list for each course and add the previous purchasers’ contacts to the appropriate list.
- Open the LMS course’s Access tab and choose its saved list as an access point.
- Test one eligible learner and one ineligible learner.
Expected result: Listed learners can access the corresponding course under the configured portal access rules.
Test before going live: Check that the learner has portal access and that only intended courses are visible.
Why did an event registrant not get access to the linked LMS course?
When would I use this? Use this when registration to a course-related event should enroll the attendee in online training but the course is missing from their portal.
The event ticket must be assigned to the registrant for the linked LMS course enrollment to apply. A completed purchase with an unassigned ticket may not grant access.
Steps in Member365:
- Review the event registration report for the affected person and confirm whether their ticket was assigned.
- Assign an existing unassigned ticket to its attendee as appropriate.
- For future registrations, enable Force Assignment in the event ticket or registration setup and test the event-to-course workflow.
Expected result: The assigned registrant can see the linked course in the Member Portal.
Test before going live: Register a test member and a test non-member and confirm both ticket assignment and course access.
Can an LMS course require someone to watch an entire external video before receiving a certificate?
When would I use this? Use this when a video assignment is part of a certificate-bearing course and learners can skip through the hosted video.
Member365 does not verify that a learner watched 100% of a video hosted on another platform before marking the assignment complete or issuing the course certificate.
Steps in Member365:
- Add the external video as the intended LMS assignment.
- Add a required follow-up quiz or other supported comprehension check after the video.
- Test the course with a learner account, including skipping within the video, before promising watch-time enforcement.
Expected result: The quiz can check comprehension, but it does not prove that every second of the external video was watched.
How do I allow another attempt at a course exam?
When would I use this? Use this when a learner has reached the configured number of exam attempts and is permitted to retake it.
Increase the exam or quiz Retest Limit to allow the additional attempt, then restore or reassign that learner's exam access as needed.
Steps in Member365:
- Open the test or quiz used by the LMS course in the form editor.
- Review its Retest Limit and raise it to the approved total number of attempts.
- Save the test, then reassign exam access to the learner if their access has already been exhausted.
- Have the learner confirm they can start another attempt.
Expected result: The permitted learner can make the additional attempt.
Test before going live: A shared retest-limit change can affect other learners, so review the course policy before saving.
Why can’t I see the Course Deadline option on an LMS course?
When would I use this? Use this when an LMS course guide refers to Course has deadline date? but the option is missing on the course.
Before you begin: A course deadline can prevent new enrollments and remove access for learners who already enrolled once it passes. Check the effect on current learners before setting it.
Steps in Member365:
- Open LMS → Settings → Online Course Configuration and enable Course Deadline; save.
- Open the course in Modules → Learning Management (LMS) → Manage Course.
- Turn on Course has deadline date?, choose By Date or By Number of Days after enrollment, enter the value, and update the course.
- Test the course as a learner before the deadline and review what access will end when it passes.
Expected result: The course displays deadline controls after the LMS setting is enabled.
Test before going live: Confirm the date or duration and inform enrolled learners of their access cutoff.
How to Set a Deadline for an LMS Course
Can an LMS course accept any one of several prerequisite courses?
When would I use this? Use this when a learner should qualify for a course after completing one of several alternative courses.
Direct answer: The current LMS prerequisite setting uses AND logic: when several prerequisite courses are selected, the learner must complete all of them. It does not provide an OR option, and a contact tag is not a substitute for a course-completion prerequisite.
Steps:
- List the prerequisite courses and decide whether learners must complete every one.
- Configure the course prerequisite only if that all-courses requirement matches your program.
- Test registration with a learner who completed one prerequisite and another who completed all of them.
- If the program needs any-one-of-these-courses eligibility, contact your account team to scope that requirement before advertising the course rule.
Expected result: A learner with all configured prerequisite courses completed can meet the current registration requirement.
