Do you want name tags for your event? You can design your own name badges that will auto-populate based on the registration list, so you can print off personalized name tags for anyone attending. Follow the steps below to create a new name badge.
Navigate to the Appropriate Page
-
From the Admin Portal Dashboard, hover over 'Events'. Then, in the drop-down menu, hover over 'Name Badges', and select 'Create Badge'
Important
If you can only click 'Name Badges' instead of being able to hover over it to reveal the subsequent dropdown, please contact the support team so they can turn the custom name badge feature on for you.
-
Click on the drop-down menu and select the desired size of your badges.
-
Name your badge (something descriptive) so you can easily find it later. It may be specific to an event, design style, or a combination of the two, for example.
-
Then, design your badge within the red-dashed border. Be sure to use the relevant merge tags to auto-populate the name badges with registrant information.
Note
A. To get a new line for your design, hold 'shift' and press 'enter' ('shift + enter'). A failure to hold 'shift' will create a new badge instead of a new line within the same badge.
B. The {QR_CODE} merge tag can be used to facilitate attendance marking. Please see this article to learn how.
-
Click 'Preview' to see your badge.
- Make any adjustments desired and click 'Preview' again until you are happy with the design. Read this article to better understand the text editing interface.
-
Click 'Publish' when you're ready to save your badge to use for your event(s).
If you want to get more creative with the name badge, and you aren't familiar/comfortable with using the source code, read this article, which is a quick guide on using AI to help with customization (adding a border, in our example).
You can always come back and modify the name tag after it is published by following the steps in this article.
Congratulations! You have successfully designed your name badge!
