How to update your Stripe gateway to use the new Stripe Connect integration

Overview

Member365 has updated the way it connects with Stripe. If your organization uses Stripe as a payment provider in Member365, you will need to complete the updated Stripe connection process.

This update allows Member365 to connect to your Stripe account using Stripe’s current secure connection process. Your existing Stripe account and payment processing will continue to work during this transition. Payments will not be interrupted while you complete this setup.

 

Before You Begin

You will need access to:

  • Your Member365 administrator account
  • The Stripe account used by your organization
  • The email address and password associated with your Stripe account
  • The phone number or email account used for Stripe verification

 

Important Notes

  • Your Stripe payment processing will continue to work during this transition.
  • Nothing changes on your Stripe processing side.
  • This process simply updates how your Stripe account is connected to Member365.
  • If your organization uses more than one Stripe gateway in Member365, you may need to complete this process for each Stripe account or gateway.

 

Step 1: Log in to Member365

Log in to your Member365 administrator account.

Once logged in, go to your main dashboard.

If your Stripe account needs to be connected, you will see a new information block on the dashboard.

 

Step 2: Select Manage Stripe Accounts

From the dashboard information block, click:

Manage Stripe Accounts

This will take you to the Stripe Connected Accounts page. This is where you can connect the Stripe payment gateways currently being used in your Member365 account.

 

Step 3: Click Connect

On the Stripe Connected Accounts page, find the Stripe account or gateway that needs to be connected.

Under the Action area, click:

Connect

You will then be redirected to Stripe to complete the secure connection process.

 

Step 4: Sign in to Stripe

Stripe will ask you to enter the email address associated with your Stripe account.

Enter your Stripe email address and password.

 

Step 5: Complete Stripe Verification

Stripe may send you an authentication or verification code.

This code may be sent to:

  • The email address associated with your Stripe account
  • The phone number associated with your Stripe account

Enter the verification code when prompted.

 

Step 6: Select the Stripe Account to Connect

After verification, Stripe will show you the Stripe account or accounts available to connect.

Select the Stripe account you want to connect to Member365.

Then click:

Connect

 

Step 7: Return to Member365

After selecting and connecting your Stripe account, you will be redirected back to Member365.

On the Stripe Connected Accounts page, check the Status column.

If the connection was successful, you should see a green status that says:

Connected

Once you see the green Connected status, the setup is complete.

 

What Happens After Connecting?

Once your Stripe account is connected:

  • Your Stripe gateway will remain connected to Member365.
  • Payments will continue to process through Member365 using your Stripe account.
  • No changes are required on your Stripe processing side.
  • Your existing Stripe account and transactions are not interrupted.

 

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the green Connected status after completing the process, or if you experience any issue during setup, please submit a support ticket to Member365.

Please reach out if:

  • You do not see the Stripe connection message on your dashboard
  • The Manage Stripe Accounts button is missing
  • You are unable to sign in to Stripe
  • Stripe does not send a verification code
  • You do not see the correct Stripe account listed
  • You are redirected back to Member365 but the status does not show Connected
  • You receive an error message during the connection process
