During event creation and configuration, you can select a number of dates relevant to the registration process: the beginning and end of registration, early bird deadlines, etc.

Regardless of which type of deadline is being discussed, the cut-off for any of these dates refers to 12 midnight in Eastern Standard Time. Use this link to figure out what time this equates to in your time zone.
