How to Mass (Soft) Delete Contacts

If you have ever needed to delete multiple contacts at the same time, you know how tedious it can be. In Member365, you can delete multiple contacts at the same time by following the steps outlined below.

1. From the Administrator Dashboard, hover over 'Contacts' and click 'Delete Contacts'

2. Select the check box beside each of the contacts you want to delete

You can find specific contacts by searching their names...

Or sort the contacts alphabetically (or reverse alphabetically) by their name, job title, organization, or by date (most recent to most distant past, or opposite) by clicking the corresponding heading

Clicking the heading a second time will reverse the sorting (so if it was A-Z, a second click will make it Z-A)

3. Once you have selected all the contacts you want to delete, click 'Submit For Deletion'

4. This will bring up a window that asks you for a reason. You can type an individual reason for each contact or type a reason into the first contact (like "Quarterly Cleaning") and click 'Apply First Reason To All', which will populate all of the reasons with the first reason. Once all the reasons are filled in, click 'Submit'

5. In the next window, review the warning message and if you are satisfied, click 'Confirm'

Congratulations, you have mass-deleted some of your contacts.
