How to Verify Imported Contact Data

This article will guide you through double-checking a contact record that you have imported into Member365.

It's important to verify the data was imported properly as soon as the import is complete, because if any data was not imported properly, it's easiest to do a reset and reimport at this point in time.

If you find that some of the data didn't import as expected, contact the customer success team and they will help fix any errors.

Begin by double-checking the member’s basic information: title, first name, middle name, last name, and prefix. Then move on to the organization details: job title, organization name, email address, work phone, language, and gender.

Double-check that the address and phone number for this member are accurate; be sure to check the details of each address, accessible through the tabs indicated by the arrows.

Finally, check the Membership/Subscription Summary to the right: verify the fee category, status, renewal, and inception dates for each respective membership type.

 

You may have also imported data such as Custom Contact Demographics or Email Subscription information, so be sure to verify all the data you imported was collected properly in Member365.

***We recommend repeating this process for multiple contacts, ideally from multiple membership categories and/or multiple geographical locations.***
