How To Change and Send a Member Portal Password

This guide will show you how to change and/or send a new password to a member in the event that they forget theirs.

1. Log into your Member365 administrator dashboard.

2. In the search bar at the top of your screen, enter the contact you wish to manage, and click their name when it appears.

3. On the left sidebar of the Contact Record, click the ‘Reset Password‘ button.

Note

Not seeing the 'Reset Password' button? It's because they do not have access to the Member Portal.

Want to give them access?

Click 'Permissions' in the menu on the left. Then, click the 'Member Portal & Workspace Access' tab. And finally, click 'Yes' under the 'Do you want this contact to have access to the member portal?' question.

Doing so will cause a window to pop up with a pre-templated email giving them access to the member portal (random password auto-generated). Click 'Give Access and Send Email' and the user will now have access to the portal with a password automatically created for and sent to them.
