Button Not Appearing in Email?

If you put a button in your email and it does not show up when you send a test email, this is a known issue with the BEE Email Editor and there is nothing Member365 can do to make the button display. As we understand it, the BEE team is working on a resolution, but until that time, this article outlines the workaround we recommend.

Create the Button

1. Go to buttons.cm/

2. Uncheck the 'Background image' field

3. In your Member365 email draft, take note of the button specifications (text, URL, background color, text color) by clicking on the button and ensuring you are looking in the 'Content' tab

4. Copy those values into the specification on the button you are creating on buttons.cm and notice how they build your button in the preview window

NOTES

  • You will have to manually set the button width to your liking
  • Set the border color the same as your background color
  • Higher border radius = more rounded corners

5. Copy the HTML Block within the BEE editor

Put the Button in your Email

6. In the draft of your email in Member365, click on the 'Content' tab

7. Click and drag the 'HTML' block below your button

8. Click on the 'I'm a new HTML block.' in the email

9. Delete the code in the HTML notepad on the right side of the screen and paste the code you have copied from buttons.cm

10. Your new button will display below the old one

11. Delete the old button

12. Send a test email to confirm the button works as expected.

Congratulations! You have now successfully replaced the 'ghost' button with one that displays properly.
